Margherita Zorzi

I received the Master Degree in Computer Science (2005) and  the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (2009) by the University of Verona. I’m currently Assistant Professor. I’ve been post-doctoral researcher and Adjunct Professor at the University of Verona and post-doctoral researcher at the Department LIPN, Université Paris 13, Villetaneuse, Paris (2011/2012).  I’m a computer scientist and a math logician. My research fileds are: proof-theory, lambda calculus (both for classical and non-classical computations), quantum functional languages, natural language processing (in particular for applications to biomedical informatics), data bases and semistructured data foundations.
I love science, I love theoretical open problems, I love knowledge and I love to teach. A lot.

By night, I’m a writer. I published with Editrice Zona three manuals about popular music.
I wrote for the specialistic magazine All About Jazz; I also wrote for the on-line magazine Blogfoolk and somethimes I collaborated with A-anarchist magazine on music-related subjects.
In this months, I’m writing two new books.

In my free time (?) I also study crochet art, drawing and sewing.
